·         If you have an Associate’s degree or two-year certificate in engineering or technology, you are required to have two years of experience. You must also have supervised documentation of completing piping inspector activities.
·         For individuals who hold a high school diploma, you must have three years of experience and supervised documentation of completing sufficient piping inspection activities.
·         If you have no prior education, you are required to have five or more years of experience and proper supervised documentation of completing your API 570 inspection activities.
