Qualifications for the API 510 Exam
At Lockhart Training Services, we aim to prepare our
students for their API 570, 510, and 653 exams through our comprehensive
training courses. We provide training material that replicates the testing
process in addition to offering real-world
experience to best expand their knowledge of the industry. Although we offer
extensive training courses, there are many requirements the students must have to qualify to take the test. Below we list the
qualifications for the API 510 exam.

If you hold a bachelor’s degree or higher, you
are required to have one year experience being
supervised by API 510
requirements.
·
If you hold an associate’s degree or
certificate, you are required to have two years of experience. Your experience
must consist of designing and operating pressure vessels while having one year of supervised activity.

school diploma, you are required to have three years of experience
operating and inspecting pressure vessels. One of the three years must be supervised with API 510 inspection duties.
